FLOODGATES COLLECTION: Artist Statement

We are all the gatekeepers to our own healing. It's time to let the doors fly open.

The moment we can move from victim to empowerment, from defensiveness to openness, we can get out of our own way and move towards inspired action. This "just do it" mentality shift sets off a chain reaction, like opening an internal floodgate towards healing. 

Visually, color gradients symbolize an internal transition – a shift into surrender, which becomes the catalyst for an opening. Old patterns and stories populate the draped paper, falling away as it gives way for the new expansive energy.
